A little about us
Therese&Tor was born from the idea that wedding films should be made for and about the couple getting married: a unique film tailored to them. After making films in Africa and Australia we decided, somewhat unexpectedly with a stowaway who is now our firstborn, to move home and tell the stories that are here.

I love every aspect of a wedding, and perhaps especially all the people who come together to create it. At a wedding, when I am not filming, I am happy to help with whatever is needed. There is something about being close to the couple, and perhaps the bride in particular. Helping them relax and enjoy the day as much as possible feels good. It is no secret either that, as a mother, I love filming the children and special family moments, so I look out for them as often as I can.
There is something about filming a moment that you just feel and know the couple will treasure enormously. Being part of preserving memories is a wonderful feeling and something I am passionate about. When I am not following up couples or filming, Tor and I work on post-production and planning new films. I am the one who stitches together the speeches from the guests and the couple, for example. It is an overwhelming task, but I love it. Creating a story around a couple you have to get to know in a short time is a real challenge. I am proud of the work we do, and that is what makes a challenge like this so exciting.

Weddings are the ultimate challenge for me. There is no second chance; you cannot simply shout "STOP" and film it again. A wedding is made of moments that happen there and then. They did not exist seconds before, and they are gone seconds later. Except that I have the chance to preserve them, heighten them and show them. There is enormous excitement in doing something like that, in creating something, and that is what I love about this job.
The planning, the preparation and the process of getting to know the couple is something I really enjoy. Then planning around those ideas and capturing them on film to heighten the moments is such fun! It is a fantastic feeling to use their ideas and dreams to create something they can see, hear and experience again later, a feeling that is hard to put into words. I put my soul into every project, and getting to know the couple in the months before is the key, I believe. Perhaps that is why it is one of the things I love most about the job, apart from filming. It is all connected: doing good research, getting to know the couple and making a good film plan means I do not need a second chance.
